Application Process
Thank you for your interest in studying at the Institute of Lutheran Theology. We look forward to being in conversation with you as you discern a call to ministry or explore opportunities for theological education. This checklist will help you track your progress in the admissions process.
- Complete and return the Admissions Application
- Submit a statement of faith outlining your core theological convictions (No more that five pages)
- Arrange for three letters of recommendation (no family members, please)
- Academic Reference
- Clergy Reference
- Peer/Other Reference
- Arrange for sealed transcripts from all other educational institutions at which you have matriculated to be sent to the Admissions Office
- Submit TOEFL score (international students only)
- Submit $50 application fee (non-refundable)
When all of your application materials have been received, the Admissions Office will contact you to schedule an interview. ILT accepts students on a continuous basis. You will be notified of our admission decision within one week of your interview.
